We so enjoyed our first visit,we returned for a second! On both occasions we chose the tasting menus and recommended wine. I had the "Hill" and "Pigeon" menus and my wife the "Lake" and " Vegetarian" menus. The quality of the food and it's presentation was first rate and enhanced by the accompanying wine. There is the option to eat outside but we ate inside as the internal restaurant is full of character, rather like a wine cellar. The location is away from the more popular lake side restaurants but is really worth seeking out - if you are serious about wanting really good quality food. I found it via Google maps and was able to book via Google also.

We did the lake tasting menu and the hill tasting menu. There were so many amazing things on both. In hind sight we should have just shared one because it was so much food, we were so full by the end. The wine we had was awesome and the server was really sweet and did her best with our horrible Italian.

The service was impeccable and the food was the best my friends and I have had since arriving in Italy last week. Try the risotto and Gìo's garden.

AmazIng service and the food was unreal. The small entree was fantastic and flavoursome for something that looked like nothing. The rabbit starter was amazing and the pigeon and liver was fantastic and I don't really like liver. I had the cheapest wine as I was on my own. No need to splurge and I believe back in the UK that it tasted like what would be £40 bottle of wine or more, it was so nice. My total bill for food was €32 + wine on top and I would have happily paid more. It shows you how much in London you pay for location over quality. The quality and service here was amazing. Highly recommend this place. Best food I've had in my four days in Bolsena.

Excellent food presented beautifully- on of our favorites of many excellent meals. Highly recommend and will return.

If you are in Bolsena this is a "MUST TRY" place. High quality food for a reasonable price! Every dish that we tried was really amazing. The staff is also really great.

Wonderful cuisine, with amazing and original dishes worthy of gourmet. I’m giving only 4 stars because of the desserts, which ruined the overall experience. The tiramisu had nothing to do with real tiramisu, the cheesecake was presented in an unusual way but wasn’t tasty, and the chocolate cake was bitter. The atmosphere inside is wonderful, but outside the tables were uneven and everything was wobbling. We were served by a very nice young man, but he showed no emotion or friendliness and failed to make you feel cared for.
